'A La Castina' is managed by Davyd Castro, a gaucho from Argentina who studied horsemanship at the School of Equestrian Art of the Republica of Argentina.
The school of horsemanship follows the rational and integrated training systems of the two major historical schools of equitation.
This form of training is carried out in practice and principles, as it has been done for centuries, and brought to the Latin Americas by the Spanish settlers, the methods of schooling and riding that they had learned during the 800 years of Moorish Arab occupation.
'A La Castina's' primary objectives are to preserve the art of true classical equitation in its traditional form through teaching, training, breeding and specialised equipment.
Davyd has a lifetime of knowledge and skills with horses, and with a strong background in classical training and general horsemanship.
Located at Freemans Reach in the Hawkesbury Valley approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD, NSW, Australia.
